Representatives of Baltic Industrial Group (GPB) participated in Poland’s largest offshore wind energy industry event – Offshore Wind Poland 2024 – organized by the Polish Wind Energy Association. As a conference partner, we took part in key debates and workshops, presenting our vision and commitment to the development of this sector in Poland.
During the panel discussion “The Value Chain in the Offshore Wind Development Process in Poland”, the Group’s CEO, Adam Kowalski, emphasized the importance of building a local supply chain and fostering collaboration among Polish companies in the sector.
“The development of offshore wind energy is not only an opportunity to accelerate Poland’s energy transition and strengthen its energy security but also to create a modern economic sector based on innovative technologies and a robust industrial base,” said Adam Kowalski.
Board members Magdalena Czuba-Wąsowska and Marcin Jackowicz also attended the event. Meanwhile, Piotr Urbaniec represented the Group during the workshop “Offshore Wind Industry Development as a Component of Poland’s Industrial Strategy”, addressing the prospects and challenges for Polish industry in the context of the sector’s dynamic growth.
As a Group, we are consistently committed to building Poland’s offshore wind sector by pursuing a strategy of cooperation with both international developers and local companies.
“Our goal is to integrate Polish industry around offshore wind projects. We aim to establish a local supply chain that will become a cornerstone of the country’s energy transition,” emphasized Adam Kowalski.
Participation in Offshore Wind Poland 2024 provided the Group with an opportunity to strengthen dialogue with business partners and further solidify its position as a leader in the sector.
