Energy from Poland is a place where the Polish energy sector has taken a new direction! This event was an arena for concrete discussions on how Polish companies can realistically participate in the energy transition—not as observers, but as full-fledged players and technology providers.
“It cannot be the case that those who invest public money in large-scale projects—such as offshore wind farms, nuclear power plants, or arms purchases—ignore the patriotic dimension. (…) Poland will spend trillions on energy—this is Polish money, and there is no reason why it should not stay in Poland, in Polish companies,” emphasized Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
The message is clear: it is time to repolonize strategic sectors, and offshore wind is one of the key areas of this change. The Baltic Industrial Group actively participated in the forum, presenting its strategic investments and role in the energy transition.
Discussions and workshops with the participation of Radosław Załoziński, Vice President for Finance, focused on, among other things, investment financing mechanisms, certification processes, and strategies for increasing the competitiveness of Polish companies in the renewable energy sector.
Piotr Urbaniec, Director of the Business Development Department, and Bartosz Charkiewicz, Director of the Project Implementation Department, took part in workshops dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises that would like to join the offshore wind energy supply chain. We presented our experience and opportunities for cooperation with the Baltic Industrial Group.
For years, the Baltic Industrial Group has been consistently building competencies and infrastructure that enable Polish companies to participate in offshore wind projects – at the executive, technological, and strategic levels.
