Baltic Industrial Group has signed a letter of intent for cooperation with PGE Baltica – a company within the PGE Group that holds the largest portfolio of offshore wind energy projects in Poland – as well as with CRIST and WIKE.
The agreement sets the foundation for joint efforts in the design and construction of specialized installation and service vessels dedicated to supporting offshore wind farms. This marks a significant step toward strengthening a robust Polish supply chain for the offshore wind sector.
As Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic, we bring to the table our extensive experience in delivering complex shipbuilding and offshore projects. Our capabilities include the production of ship sections and blocks, as well as comprehensive outfitting of vessels – including piping and electrical systems, steel structures, and deck equipment such as specialized offshore cranes.
– Signing the letter of intent is another important step in reinforcing our contribution to local content in Poland’s offshore wind sector – emphasized Adam Kowalski, President of the Management Board of Baltic Industrial Group. – Our current projects – including advanced outfitting of installation vessel decks – confirm our readiness to actively participate in the energy transition on the Baltic Sea.
The cooperation between PGE Baltica, CRIST, WIKE, and Baltic Industral Group demonstrates that a successful energy transition requires strong collaboration among domestic partners.
