Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic (GPB) has begun work on its ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy. In the coming months, it is planned to comprehensively examine and parameterize key aspects of the Group companies’ operations for strategic recommendations and non-financial reporting from 2025. Implementation of the strategy will strengthen GPB’s position as a responsible international partner and a key link in the value chain created by its contractors and other stakeholders.
Analyses will include, among other things, respect for human rights (including labor rights), relations with local communities, environmental impact, and evaluation of the practices of domestic and foreign trade and technical partners. The work is scheduled for completion in the first months of 2025. The document under development will become an integral part of the Group’s development strategy, responding to the challenges of the modern world and business environment. As part of the work, the Group’s objectives will also be modernized to be consistent with legal requirements and social responsibility in the ESG area.
The project is supported by audit and consulting firm MOORE Poland and Quantifier, a collaborative provider of the Envirly technology platform for ESG sustainability management.
