On November 8, 2024 Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic and Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu had the pleasure of hosting the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, on Gdansk’s Ostrów Island. The meeting was an opportunity to present PBB production facilities, discuss the challenges facing the Polish offshore wind energy sector and the future of the Polish offshore industry. 

During the meeting, it was emphasised that the Group continues the rich traditions of the Polish shipbuilding industry, drawing on the knowledge and experience of the specialists employed at the Gdansk and Gdynia facilities. The hosts of the meeting pointed out that GPB strives to become a national and regional leader in offshore wind energy, which introduces innovative solutions, effectively competes internationally and supports Poland’s energy transition. They also emphasised that further contracts and orders, as well as investments to enable the implementation of specialised products and government support, are necessary for the further development of the sector.
